Please don't leave I swear I'm not like, WEIRD or anything!

Hi I'm Sano. I'm a digital and traditional artist. I pride myself in wanting to be a mangaka as a teen so I tried to figure out how. I've barely finished anything in my life so uh I'm figuring out what my real calling in. Maybe it's drawing porn or directing cosplay porn (like my Divine friend in school predicted I'd thrived) but I'll figure out my place in life. Maybe I'll make Youtube Kids content? But after just talking about porn maybe that's in bad taste. I always thought both children AND adult need some help figuring it out these days. But I don't even have myself figured out and I PROMISED I wouldn't go back to that home care job until I went to therapy. Actually I'm too young to go back, let me try making content first.

Sit down children, pappy has a story to tell about his past. I first was active online on Runescape where I made an Inuyasha RP account and would be the ultimate start in my new identity online. With a limited character count and my stubborness to avoid being Inuyasha1234 at all cost, I put an "o" at the end of Inuyashasan and got my online persona I use to this day: Sano!

I feel like it's a very neutral name born out of my teen love for things Japanese and Manga and Anime and it helped me use a name other than my given name to identify me online. As an adult now I kinda appreciate how different this name is from my own and has given me an identity as an artist and some agency to control the ambiguity of my gender or country of origin. I felt like I could experience interactions online with some perceived sense of culture.

Then came Gaiaonline. I must've joined around 2007. I remember a year of the katana Monthy Item and I remember THAT being a big deal. A simpler time of just Towns and Fishing. Jigsaw puzzles and gambling would come later. As well as Gaiaonlines mmo zOMG! which I played so much of. When that became a thing we made an Inuyasha RP Guild and had some great memories. I would post on Deviantart as well and would fill it with a lot of Inuyasha fanart.

In high school I got into Gurren Lagann and it's so weird how I got into it. I started recording it on Tivo but started recording the episodes at episode 9. Such an ironic place to start with the introduction of a new major character! But I got really into Kittan probably only when I watched what happened to him, and I was on my period. Instant connection. So that leads me to make an Ask Blog on tumblr after seeing people do ones for the likes of Simon and Nia. Such good content. I was really growing as an artist since my biggest artistic inspirations came from Inuyasha (Rumiko Takahashi's works in general) and shoujo manga. Gurren Lagann was a big practice of learning how to approach different character designs and a step of non-moefication of my style. American cartoons were huge for me too so it was around this time I was trying to bridge a personal artistic style that could be flexibly cartoonish or anime.

I used to stream my art on Livestream.com when I was like 17 years old! i didnt have a big audience but i did get art requests. I loved how it helped me stay focus and practice new things. I'm gonna stream art and games someday! I'm in a journey of healing. It's clear I need /b
